Our church picnic was this past Sunday. I made cucumbers in sour cream as my contribution.
2 cucumbers, peeled and thinly sliced
1 tsp. salt
1 yellow onion, thinly sliced
8 oz container of sour cream
1 Tbsp. vinegar
1 tsp. chives, chopped
1 Tbsp. dill weed
1 Tbsp. sugar
Peel and slice the cucumbers.
Sprinkle with salt and chill for at least 30 minutes. Pour off the accumulated water.
Add the remaining ingredients. Chill.
