Bloggers Garden Party at Longwood Gardens

I have two people to thank. Susan from A Southern Daydreamer is hosting Outdoor Wednesday. Check out other OW posts.

I also want to thank Becky from Hospitality Lane, who is being very hospitable and inviting all bloggers to join her for a day trip to beautiful Longwood Gardens in Kennett Square, a suburb of Philadelphia.

I have been there only once before and it is a very beautiful place.
It encompasses 1,050 acres of gardens, woodlands, lakes, and meadows.

There are more fountains than any other garden in the US.

There is a large conservatory hosting 20 different indoor gardens.

Click here for details, if you are interested in joining us at Longwood Gardens.

Hi Karen,
Thank you for coming by. To answer your question, we were in the produce selling business for over 25 yrs, but now just grow for us and neighbors!! As you can imagine lots of hard work and the labor workforce has gotten to crisis mode. Thank you for asking, and for always being so kind to me with lovely thoughts.

I am hoping for a good day with sunshine and no rain.

Longwood Gardens is one of the best places to go and just be calm.

Thanks for the mention.

Wow Karen, When I lived in Mechanicsburg, I had a yearly membership and tried to visit Longwood at least once a quarter. My favorite time was when I made the two hour trip myself and just meandered around all day and journaled while sitting in the conservatory. It's the most beautiful gardens I've seen in the states! Everyone will be in for a treat! There is "nothing" compared to watching their water fountain shows in the summer evenings with Mozart playing in the background. Have FUN! ;)~CC Catherine

Your pictures are just lovely. Longwood is one of my favorite places to visit. I've been there many times, but the last time was three years ago, the night after Christmas (the lights in the trees outdoors is just an awesome sight to see. The time before that was about 14 or so years ago, so I hope we can go again this spring...so looking forward to visiting the gardens again...
