Autumn Flowers

Outdoor Wednesday is hosted by Susan at A Southern Daydreamer. Check out other outdoor posts by clicking on the link.

These photos were just taken. I can't believe that some of these flowers are still blooming in the middle of October.

Don Juan climbing rose.

Impatients

Phlox

Iceberg Rose

Clematis

Mums

Seeds were planted last year. Only the one came up this year and didn't bloom until this week. I think it a cosmos.

Snapdragons and marigolds provided color all summer.

Sedum - Autumn Joy

The morning glories were a surprise which self seeded from seeds I planted last year.

Gorgeous Flowers. I personally, don't have much of a green thumb. When I get lucky and something grows, the deer get luckier and have it for dinner!

Beautiful Flowers!!!! I just love flowers all times of the year. I am surprised you have so many left at this time. Isn't it starting to get cold up there?

Isn't it amazing what is still blooming and yes that is a cosmos. They are the best little bang for your buck flowers out there I think and they do love the fall.

It is fun to see flowrs still in bloom with the glorious changing of the leaves.
I agree cosmos are so hardy, pretty and come up year after year. we had a patch of pink and lavendars that were a beautiful combination for years.

A lovely post!

Beautiful flowers. I noticed my impatients have bloomed some more, but they won't last for long - only in the 50's today and the rain is beating everything down.

Your flowers are certainly growing strong for this time of the year! I have lots of impatiens but they are yellowing and going to seed. My mums are almost ready to bloom so that will add some fall color.
Enjoy your pretty garden as much as possible before winter arrives!

Hi Karen,
I was in my garden today pulling up weeds and cutting hostas down - just general fall maintenance. My Impatiens have not been doing well since we had all that rain this summer. Thanks for the lovely pictures of the flowers still blooming in your garden!

A lot of those flowers will bloom until a frost takes them down. I really love your photos. I hope you're having a great day.

Your October flowers are very pretty. I have found that with my flowers, especially the roses. They are full of buds and blooming like spring. Our weather has the plants not knowing what to do. Happy you visited today.

Your flowers are beautiful. This year is amazing with all the rain here in Texas. My flowers have never looked better and it's mid October. Thanks for sharing your pictures and thank you for visiting me - I brand new to blogland. Blessings.
