My First Tabletop Thursday

This is my first Tabletop Thursday. Susan of Between Naps on the Porch is hosting. Check out the other great tabletops. I will, as I am learning from all your great bloggers.

I have even started to buy more plates and glasses at thrift stores now that I am checking out all your great blogs.

The blue and yellow plaid tablecloth was just obtained at the Salvation Army. It was still packaged in the new plastic from Boscovs.

I recently purchased the yellow runner and matching yellow napkins. I combined blue napkins that I already had to add interest. The white plates are a recent purchase from Volunteers of America Thrift Store. This thrift store is only a little over a mile from where I live and everything is very reasonably priced. I found the beautiful blue goblets at T.J. Maxx for $2.00 each.

I know, I know, I need to work on my centerpiece. At least they are real flowers.

It will be fun to look back and compare this first post. I'll be sure to check on all your tablescapes and get inspired from yours.

Hi Karen. Hey you will have so much fun doing these Tablescape posts. I shop now...differently...because I think "oh I could use that for my table, or add that to my set...or do I have this color tablecloth?" It is fun and it is great visiting with other ladies getting ideas that we would never ever come up with!!! I go to thrift stores now and pick up fabric/cloth napkins knowing I will use them in the future for a Tablescape! Big smile!
Have fun!
Debbie

Hello Karen! Thank you for coming by and saying hi! Your blue and yellow and white is really pretty! If this is how you set for dinner you've got me beat! We usually take our food in the den in front of the tv! How sad is that?! Everyone is on such different schedules now! God Bless! Lauralu :)

What a great color combo you selected for your tablescape! It is really a lot of fun! Blue and yellow are so good together, and I like the goblets you chose to set it all off. Enjoyed seeing your tablescape. Thanks for sharing!

Happy Tablescape Thursday...

The blue and yellow is so pretty! I love that blue glassware. It gives a nice pop to the table.

Thank you for the comment on my blog. I love the ornament hanger also and it was amazingly hard to find. I didn't know what to call it and most of them are shaped like Christmas trees. I use it for lots of seasons. :D Jewel

Great share today for a first time! Keep collecting to mix and match and have colors that spans all holidays so you don't have to feel guilty about buying any of them and feel great if they are a steal!
