Hi Karen, thanks for checkingout our renovations and yes I did have it posted a rms.My computer crashed and I can't use my name "prariedog" there anymore.I also can't access my rooms except as an ordinary visitor so I guess they will be there for as long as rms has them there. With Micasa closing I may use rms again,it just made me so mad that I couldn't get my name back and access my files that I didn't feel like starting over there again. At least on your own blog you have more control. These ice sculptures just amaze me.My cousin is married to a man who is really into it too,he has been paid to travel to various places to make them.who know maybe he was there, you might even know him, sometimes it's a small world.Nice meeting you. Cyndi
WOW! These are amazingly beautiful. Thank you SO Much for sharing. :-) I can't even imagine what they must look like in person... like a fantasy world in ice and snow!
We kind of live in the same neck of the woods...well really kind of. I'm in Canada. I showed off our ice sculptures last week on Outdoor Wed. I've been to Lake Placid many times but never while this event was on. Aren't they amazing? Love Claudie xo
Amazing. Aren't these gorgeous! I suppose ice sculptures can be compared to sand castles as far as their durability. Imagine all the effort put into them knowing they will disappear when the temperature climbs. Thanks for sharing.
Wow! What a spectacular event. I've never actually been to see ice sculptures that size. Only little table size ones on a cruise! That is a real winter wonderland.
Oh my gosh! They ARE beautiful! I'm in Texas so I've neevr seen anything like them. Thanks so much for sharing...waht an interesting outdoor wednesday post!
Good heavens, these are unbelievable! I don't know which is the most impressive, can't even think of how much work went into these. The detail is incredible. Thanks so much for sharing these. Kathy
Karen, I can't believe those gorgeous works of art are ice sculptures ... some of them look like crystal or blown glass.
I appreciate you leaving a comment for me about my kitchen. I posted it on RMS a couple of years ago, but haven't posted anything since I started blogging. Blogland is a much kinder and gentler place than RMS ... lol
I love your blog and will be back to visit again soon.
