Day of Caring - Part 2

Thank you Susan for hosting Tablescape Thursday. To see other tablescapes, go to her blog at Between Naps on the Porch.

I posted about our church's Day of Caring earlier this week. We had a lunch for ladies who were care givers to their disabled family members. I was a table host. This is my table, along with other tables set for the event.
The church supplied the tablecloth. I took my Franciscan desert rose china, grandmas flatware and my silver piecies.

I put iced tea spoons in my Princess House glass holder.
Fresh flowers surround a pillar candle, as well as the tapers and tiny votives.

I you are interested in holding a day of caring, email me and I'll send you the planning notes.

Karen -- yes I would be interested in the planning for this event -- I mentioned it to my pastor I just happened to run into yesterday while waiting for my dad's latest prescription - I think this is a wonderful idea.

That is a beautiful table. I have some of that same china that I will do one day. What a great idea your church had to do that. And the ladies that sat at your table were very lucky!

Love your table, Karen! It's perfect, and the mother of a close high school friend had that same pattern. I can remember setting the dinner table at their house with those dishes. Made me smile!

XO,

Sheila :-)
