Bedscapes and Beyond #1

I recently painted my bedroom a calm taupe. Before that it was red. I needed a nice calm room. The room has hardwood floors. I had leftover carpet remnants which I used as area rugs. The small cream table was purchased at a thrift store. The lamps were inherited from my aunt. The metal piece over the bed has been painted many colors. I spray painted it cream and then glazed it brown. I posted the finial before. It was purchased at a thrift store and repainted and glazed.

The above is what my bed looks like right after I make it. Below is two minutes later.

i agree, your bedroom looks very relaxing. i think i would have some sweet dreams in that bed! love your dog pictured as well. what i should of entered for this party was a pic of my 3 kids + 1 large dog + myself all in bed the other night. when they were all sick. now that would of been a good bedscape - not!

thanks for doing a fun twist on the usual parties!

take care!

I love your color choice. Mine is similar except that I have a Navy Blue Wall behind the bed.
Caesar looks so very comfy there!

Thanks for hosting a new blog party! I am trying to leave comments on some of the blogs, but Blogger eats them when I try to publish. I use Typepad, and sometimes those don't register either on Open ID. When a Blog Owner only allows comments from Blogger, they are missing out on some good feedback.
