Second Time Around - April 21

Diane, at A Picture is Worth 1,000 Words is hosting 2nd Time Around. If you love yard sales, antique shops, or thrift stores, you will love visiting her blog. Click on the link and check out all the wonderful things we bloggers have found.

You can't tell from the photo, but this little tea pot is quite small. It's about the size of a tea cup, measuring a little over 3 inches tall and a little over 5 inches wide. I thought It was so cute when I saw it in the thrift store. When I saw they were asking only $1.00 for it, I brought it home.

This oval vase is my newest acquisition. I have a lot of blue and yellow. When I saw it, my heart skipped a beat and I snatched it up for under $5.00.
I use the little tray as a candle dish. When not holding a candle, we can play tick-tack-toe. This was under a dollar.

Thank you so much for stopping by! I love your finds! That little tic tac toe game is so cute.

Love the Shack book too- noticed that on your profile! Have a friend who is going though a terrible custody battle and she had a lady come up to here that she had never seen before and prayed for her. Guess what she looked like? A Black grandma just like in the book! I reminded her of that in the book as she had totally forgotten!

oh yes I will be sure and post about that lamp someday!

Treasure hunting! Love it.

However, I have to thin down my treasure collection about now. Too many things, the house is feeling cluttered.

Your finds are very cute!

Thank you for stopping by today. It looks like you found some good deals. I love thrifting and antiques. That teapot is so cute with all that detail for its size.

I was at The Antique Depot in Altoona. Isn't Belleville great. I was thinking of going tomorrow, but it is too cold. Have you ever been to the Green Dragon over by Ephrata?

Thanks again for visiting.
