I had a rabbit that I "thought" was a yard ornament. Turns out, his ear got messed up when water hit it, and the ear disentertated on the tip. Maybe this is the same case with your birgs. Just a wild guess...

XO,

Sheila :-)The Quintessential Magpiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04010105595059019883noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5031390004828498457.post-5287815269370688302009-03-09T15:07:00.000-04:002009-03-09T15:07:00.000-04:00Oh how awful! All are of good quality.

After you wash your tablecloth set it out to dry in the sun~all day. The sun acts as a natural bleaching agent. It may take a few attempts.
Linen also dyes quite well if you can't get rid of the stain.

Hope you will visit soon. I was washing a pair of chicken salt & peppers I got at an Antiques shop and, after letting them soak, they fell apart in my hands! I'm not sure what they're made of. It must be the age of them for one thing.
Sorry yours went down the drain. At least with mine I could see it happening instead of having to figure it out!Danettehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17105618252159495450noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5031390004828498457.post-70710389582551298212009-03-09T13:43:00.000-04:002009-03-09T13:43:00.000-04:00Oh No!
